Apple iPad es el último y exclusivo objeto de deseo de la casa de Steve Jobs, se presenta como una tablet multi tacto con una pantalla mucho mas larga que la antes vista en los iPod Touch y iPhone, la pantalla es de 9.7” en OLED que incorpora una nueva tecnología denominada IPS, ( del ingles in plane switching, algo así como movimientos en plano) que permite tener un rango de visión del dispositivo de unos 178º, en otras palabras usted podrá ver el contenido de diferentes ángulos sin perder nivel de contraste y colores. Además de ser un dispositivo multi tacto y tener integrada la mejor tecnología del iPhone, el procesador que hace todo funcionar a la perfección es el nuevo chip Apple A4 de 1GHz, que se describe como un chip de alto rendimiento y bajo consumo de energía. Aun en las especificaciones técnicas, la batería tiene una duración de 10 horas, por supuesto nosotros esperábamos mas en la vida de esta ya que es un producto que esta diseñado para ser transportable.
Entre otras cosas el iPad viene con las ya conocidas aplicaciones como: Navegador Safari, YouTube, Mapas, video, Fotos, una interfaz rediseñada de Correo y Contactos, notas, etc. Así que antes de terminar con esta revisión me gustaría detenerme en dos aplicaciones que vale la pena mencionar, primero la nueva aplicación de Calendario que luce increíblemente útil aprovechando todas las posibilidades de la pantalla táctil y ordenando el día a día, y en segundo lugar, pero quizás la mejor aplicación en el iPad es el desarrollo de la tienda iBook, donde se renueva la experiencia de coger un libro de una estantería y poder leerlo con un desarrollo completamente táctil, además no tienes que ir a un sitio web para comprar nuevos libros, solo presionas un botón y ya estas en la iBook store de Apple.
Ahora es el turno de los desarrolladores de software para realizar nuevas aplicaciones para esta tablet y ver como se comporta en el futuro, y para aquellos que pensaron que podían perder sus aplicaciones del iPod Touch o el iPhone, este dispositivo reconoce esas aplicaciones y algunas incluso podrán ser visualizadas en Pantalla completa, eso es una ventaja única en este producto. Pero no todo es tan bueno, el iPad no responde a mas de una tarea al mismo tiempo y aun hay trabas en el uso de Adobe Flash en el Navegador Safari, no es algo que no hayamos experimentado con los anteriores dispositivos multi tacto de la compañía, pero es algo que esperamos ene l futuro de los productos de Apple.

Apple iPad is the latest and exclusive new item in the house of Steve Jobs, it show itself like a multi touch tablet display with a much larger screen than we already seen on the iPod Touch and the iPhone, the screen is 9.7” OLED that incorporate a new technology called IPS (in plane switching) that allows to have a 178º degrees in range vision, in other words you can see the content from almost every point of view without losing colors and contrast. Besides being a multi touch device integrated with the best technology of the iPhone, the processor that makes everything run correctly it’s the new 1GHz Apple A4 chip, describe as a high performance and low power chip. Still in the insight details the battery runs for 10 hours, of course we would expect more on the battery life on a product that’s its made to be a handheld device.
Among other things the iPad comes with Safari Browser, YouTube, Video, iPod App, a redesign Mail operator, Notes, Photo, Maps, etc. So before I end up this report I would like to stay in two thing that call my attention on the apps presented on the iPad that worth to mention, first the new Calendar app looks incredibly useful with an interesting way to organize your day, and the best app designed for this iPad and I guess it is the main, the iBook store the way you select a book and start reading it make the touch experience in a whole new level besides you don’t need to a special web to get new books, just push a button and go to the iBook store.
Now its time for the developers to make new apps for this tablet and see how it behaves in the future, and for those who thought they going to lose their apps on the iPhone or iPod touch, this device recognize those apps and some even can be experienced in Full Screen, that’s an A+ to this product. But not everything its that good, the iPad does not behave as multitask device and still have issues with the Adobe Flash files in the safari web browser, not something we haven’t experience before on the other touch screen devices of the firm, but its something we would like to see on the future of Apple devices.
