Adidas Jabulani es el balón oficial de la Copa mundo de la FIFA. El nombre Jabulani se origina en uno de los once lenguajes oficiales de Sudáfrica, el Isizulu, y el significado de esta palabra es “A Celebrar”.
El balón considera un diseño exclusivo denominado “Grip N Groove”, un perfil que permite mas estabilidad en el aire al momento de juego y un perfecto agarre en cualquier condición climática. El balón también esta compuesto por ocho paneles tridimensionales, los que por primera vez fueron desarrollados para ser moldados de forma esférica, dándole por primera vez una mayor eficiencia en todo sentido.
Adidas Jabulani is the official Match Ball of the 2010 Fifa World Cup™. The name Jabulani originates from one of the eleven official languages from South Africa, the Isizulu, and the meaning of the words is “to Celebrate”
The match ball considers some new developed “Grip n Groove” profile that allows the players more stable flight and perfect grip under any climate conditions. The ball is made with only eight 3D panels, which for the first time are spherically molded giving the ball more accuracy than ever before.
